The City of Houston, in partnership with emergency response organizations from across the region are coming together once again to help non-hospital healthcare agencies ensure that their emergency response plans reflect best practices and new regulations.
Join us for a day-long seminar and resource fair specifically tailored to your agency’s needs.

Registration begins at 8:00 a.m.
Free Parking is available in the Parking Garage of the HCDE building, as well as a surface lot across the street. If possible, please plan to carpool with people from your facility to reduce the congestion in the parking garage, especially during the lunch break

WHO SHOULD ATTEND THE SUMMIT?
This summit is intended for non-hospital healthcare providers, such as dialysis centers, home health agencies, hospice care, and others.
WHAT IS THE GOAL OF THE EVENT?
The goal of the Houston Healthcare Emergency Preparedness Summit is to provide an opportunity to let smaller, non-hospital healthcare agencies learn from each other, as well as experts in their field about planning for all types of emergencies. This is accomplished by providing information in presentations throughout the day, and an Expo that allows one-on-one time with regulatory and emergency response agencies.
IS BREAKFAST OR LUNCH PROVIDED?
Lunch is not provided for free at this event, however there are a number of restaurants around the facility that can easily accommodate your group and budget. There will be a list of area restaurants provided to registrants prior to the event.
